A Little About Me
Hi, I’m Bella Oberlatz — a communications professional passionate about using creative strategy and storytelling to connect people, ideas, and communities.
I’ve managed campaigns that drove measurable growth, designed websites and digital assets to streamline communication, and developed content plans tailored to diverse audiences, from global universities to small businesses.
At the core of my work is a drive to create community-first strategies that spark engagement, highlight authentic voices, and bring brands to life online. Whether I’m building a publishing calendar, analyzing trends, or designing visuals, I excel at the intersection of creativity and strategy.
When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me traveling, hiking, or reading a good book.
Some of my Recent Work
I helped design and build a website for the University of Oregon’s Global Studies Institute in collaboration with the Association of Pacific Rim Universities (APRU). The site streamlined communication between international faculty, students, and research hubs while showcasing programs like the Sustainable Cities and Landscapes initiative.

Max & Ollie – Social Media Campaign
I worked with author Stephanie Montgomery to develop a social media strategy for her children’s book brand, Max & Ollie. After identifying key stakeholders and defining her target audience, I built a content plan designed to increase brand awareness and engagement. The campaign included creative content ideas, growth strategies, and an organized posting schedule to help expand her reach and strengthen her online presence.
Event Promotion – Don’t Shoot the Journalists
I designed this promotional flyer for a Global Studies Institute panel featuring authors of Don’t Shoot the Journalists: Migrating to Stay Alive. The flyer highlights the event details while balancing strong visual hierarchy, engaging typography, and clear messaging. By combining bold text, author images, and book artwork, the design captured attention across campus and encouraged attendance at the event.
